Tularemia
Ulceroglandular and glandular tularemia can be transmitted through tick or fly bites and by handing tissue of infected rabbits, muskrats, prairie dogs and other rodents.
Other forms exist including typhoidal version with systemic symptoms and no local focus.
Inhalation of the bacteria can lead to a rare pneumonic form.
